Cami De Cavalls In Menorca
Whether you want to see some of the ”hidden' Menorca or just like to get out for a good walk when you're on holiday, the Cami de Cavalls is a must. Made up of little pathways and tracks (some rough, some surfaced), this coastal route circles the whole island so you can get to it from every seaside resort.
You can either explore the section that appeals to you or head out from your resort and see what there is to see. Walking to the next resort and catching the bus back is a great way to do it. Maybe you'll find yourself looking down on a beautiful sandy cove from a cliff top, strolling through a sun-dappled forest, or listening to the birds as you wander across a meadow.
The real beauty of the Cami de Cavalls is that it's almost impossible to get lost as the route is so well signposted. But while you won't need a map, you will need some decent sturdy footwear to handle the often rocky paths. Pop your flip-flops and swimming things in a bag as well as you can't pass all those beaches without being tempted to stop at least once.
And if hiking isn't really your thing, the Cami de Cavalls is also popular for cycling and horse riding. There are other fun ways to see more of Menorca's scenery too, such as hiring a car or joining a tour of the island's highlights.
