Cala n Forcat Nightlife
Although there's a sleepier vibe here than neighbouring Ibiza or Majorca, there's still plenty of choice when it comes to nightlife in Cala'n Forcat. While the resort has a reputation as a more relaxed and laid-back location, you'll still find plenty of cosy bars, discos, karaoke nights and tapas bars where you can enjoy drinks, dining and dancing after dark.
Cala'n Forcat nightlife is known for its British vibe, with British style pubs, karaoke bars and disco bars all popular choices for British holidaymakers enjoying a stay here. Despite the lack of clubs, the town is buzzing until late and there are plenty of options for clubbing in nearby Ciutadella.
Start your night with dinner or tapas at one of the many tapas bars in the town. Sa Cova is an authentic Spanish tapas bar with plenty of local beers to choose from, but you'll find most of the restaurants on Avinguda Los Delfines. Here there are plenty of traditional family-owned restaurants serving up local specialities as well as fish and seafood like sea bream, swordfish and squid, all freshly caught and prepared.
Jimmy Hill's is an institution in Cala'n Forcat, and it's where you'll find a mixed crowd of young, hip holidaymakers and families enjoying a quiet night out. This British style pub has regular karaoke and quiz nights as well as plenty of TV screens so you can catch up on your favourite show. There's also a kids' games room with pool tables and an outdoor terrace where you can enjoy the warm, sunny evenings.
When it comes to Cala'n Forcat nightlife, most of the town's bars and pubs are located between Los Delfines Arch and the ”John Travolta' statue, so head here if you're planning a great night out. Jimmy D's is one of Cala'n Forcat's most popular spots for karaoke, and it's open until around 5am in the summer months.
If you prefer your nightlife a little more sophisticated, the jazz bars and harbour bars of Ciutadella have outdoor terraces with ocean views, where you can enjoy a glass of champagne or a cocktail. The Moonlight Cocktail bar is a popular place for pre or post-dinner drinks, and has an eclectic menu.
For something a little different, head to The Square in nearby Cala'n Blanes. Here you'll find a range of restaurants and bars as well as a stage with nightly live shows. Entertainment starts at 7.30pm, with main acts following around 9.30pm, giving you the opportunity to enjoy dinner or drinks with friends while you watch. This is also a great spot for families with younger children who still want to enjoy the local nightlife.
Although it may not have the super clubs of Ibiza or the party vibe of Majorca, there's plenty of nightlife in Cala'n Forcat for all ages. Whether you prefer singing your heart out to Tina Turner, winning the quiz night prize, or just relaxing with a few cocktails on an outdoor terrace, the nightlife here has you covered.
