By Bus: The resort is served by three bus routes with direct services to destinations such as Mahón, Alaior, Ciutadella, Es Mercadel, and Ferreries. It's a good idea to check bus times in advance during your holiday, as online timetables may not always be up to date.

By Taxi Hiring a taxi can be a convenient and comfortable way to get around, particularly if you're travelling with lots of luggage from the airport. Always remember to agree the fare before you board.

By car Hiring a car can be a great way to explore Menorca independently and at your own pace. Probably the best place to rent one is at the airport, where you'll find a wide choice of vehicles for your holiday to Cala Galdana.

The Fiestas de Sant Bartomeu in Ferreries: This is a huge fiesta. From brass bands to horse parades, the event draws in massive crowds, and takes place each year on a weekend in late August.

The El Caramelero: Otherwise known as the Tree of Sweets, the kids will love this fun event. This is when children plant branches of trees into a pot and add a mixture of water and sugar into the soil, only to find sweets on the branch the next morning, which they carry across the town.
