What’s the weather like in Menorca in April?
With its Mediterranean climate, the Balearic island of Menorca enjoys mild temperatures all year round, with hotter summers and wetter winters. You may also hear it called the ‘Windy Island’ due to the breezes that blow across its shores. In April the island is between seasons, moving from the cooler winter to the warmth of springtime. With drier weather, April is a good month to visit Menorca if you want to avoid the intense heat in the height of the season.
Averages
Menorca is quite humid in April, with average daytime temperatures of 13°C at the start of the month, gradually increasing as the days go by. By the end of the month, temperatures reach 19°C in the hottest part of the day, which falls to 12°C after dark. To stay warm in April, you’ll need to pack plenty of layers, especially for trips out in the evening. It’s also worth bringing a raincoat as Menorca can be showery in April, with 48mm of rain falling over the course of the month.
