Visit Siam Park Tenerife
Tenerife's famous Siam Park is one of the biggest and best waterparks anywhere in Europe, if not the world. No matter how old you are, there's so much to love about this Thai-themed destination, including loads of amazing white-knuckle rides like The Tower of Power, The Dragon, and Mekong Rapids. Even if you'd prefer a more serene scene, it's easy to waste away the day on the lazy river and watch the world go by from the white sandy beach. All this and more is waiting for you at this fun-filled attraction on the Costa Adeje; it's in easy reach of popular resorts like Playa de las Americas and Los Cristianos.

Families: Little kids and big adults alike will love riding the slides and splashing around in the pools at Siam Water Park. Whatever age you are, whatever you fancy doing, there's something to please everyone here. Daredevils: With 29 rides in total, you'll be spoiled for choice at Siam Park. Brace yourself for plenty of white-knuckle thrills; you won't want to miss The Tower of Power, The Dragon, or the Mekong Rapids.
Friends: Come with your friends if you fancy a change of scenery from the beach. You and three others can take on The Volcano together; this hair-raising water slide will plunge you into a tunnel of darkness before you land with a splash at the other end.
Best time to visit
Summer is peak season in Tenerife, so this is the busiest time of year at Siam Park. As you might expect, the queues can get pretty long during this time. But if you arrive early enough, you can at least beat some of them. Don't forget to bring your sun cream, too, as temperatures can rise above 30℃. If you want to avoid the crowds, why not visit during autumn, winter, or spring? Seeing as Tenerife enjoys pleasant temperatures right through the year (and the park's open all year round), you might as well make the most of it.
Getting there
Shuttle bus: There's a free shuttle bus running to and from the Siam Park from nearby resorts. Be sure to check with your hotel for details.
On foot: The water park is only a ten-minute walk from Playa de la Americas. Once you arrive, you'll be free to wander around the park to your heart's content.
Hire car: If you're staying a little further away, or you want to come and go as you please, you might want to hire a car to get to Siam Park.
Events
Summer nights: Every Friday and Saturday night in July and August, Siam Park stays open until midnight. Extend your day or arrive from 8pm onwards, the choice is yours.
Halloween: On All Hallows' Eve (October 31st), you'll find all kinds of spooky surprises waiting for you at the water park.

Have fun with the family
Lots of family-friendly adventures are waiting for you at Tenerife's Siam Park. The youngest visitors will love playing around in Sawasdee, where you'll find a mini version of some of the full-size Siam Park rides. There's also Lost City, a magical water fortress maze with little slides, sprinklers and climbing frames. Don't forget to pick up a float on the Jungle Snake and wind your way through the wild rainforest, and make your way up to the Thai temple to give The Giant twin cyclone a go.
Go thrill-seeking
You'll find 29 rides in total at Siam Water Park, Tenerife, some of which promise a real rush of adrenaline to anyone who dares to ride them. The Tower of Power is one of the most dramatic. It's a 28-metre slide with an almost vertical drop, sending you into freefall, before you land with a big splash into the shark and manta ray-filled aquarium. Then there's El Dragón, which gives you a zero-gravity experience, and The Volcano will send you into a tunnel of darkness.
Take it easy
Ready to slow things down? You'll be free to take a calm ride down the world's longest lazy river, which snakes slowly through the park. Head down to the sandy beach to bag a free sun lounger, or take a dip in the wave pool. If you've worked up an appetite, you can grab a snack at the floating market or have a bite to eat at one of the restaurants within the water park.
