San Antonio Bay Nightlife: Bars & Clubs

Although the nightlife in San Antonio Bay isn't as famous as its noisy neighbour, San Antonio Town, it certainly holds its own. By day, the Bay's a picturesque and laid-back resort with a stunning main beach and five more secluded ones. These are ideal for anyone looking to relax, unwind, and get away from the crowds. This resort's perfect for families and couples who want to enjoy some quality downtime together.

An essential part of San Antonio Bay nightlife is its restaurant scene. Walk along the waterfront, and you'll find an extensive range of restaurants serving cuisine from all over the world. There's everything from traditional English food to Thai and Mexican.

Fancy dining on the sand? Look out for Sa Flama. They serve pizza, tapas, Tex-Mex, and barbeque food. Alternatively, POM Thai offers spicy and aromatic Thai dishes.

If you've got the little ones with you, then you'll find most restaurants have dedicated children's menus, so you're bound to find something to please even the pickiest of eaters. However, despite its family-friendly atmosphere, that doesn't mean San Antonio Bay doesn't know how to turn up the volume and have a good time. At night the music gets louder, and the party gets livelier.

Kumharas Ibiza

While San Antonio is all super clubs and Sunset Strip, San Antonio Bay's nightlife takes a slightly different form. While you won't find the likes of Pacha or Ibiza Rocks, you'll discover some great bars playing easy-going music, and with a much more laid-back atmosphere. Kumharas is one of the best there is when it comes to San Antonio Bay bars. It offers excellent views of picture-perfect Ibizan sunsets and boasts a lounge, a restaurant, and a chill-out area.

It's no wonder this bar attracts a regular crowd of both locals and tourists. Couples come to catch the last rays of the day with a cocktail in hand, while the locals flock here to hang out and meet friends. Kumharas also hosts live music events, usually in the form of flamenco guitarists or DJs playing the best chill-out tunes.

Other bars in San Antonio Bay

Maxims Rock Bar is another popular hotspot for upbeat San Antonio Bay nightlife. The music tends to be more guitar-orientated, with live rock music playing most nights. With a wide range of cocktails, wines and beers, Maxims also has large-screen TVs: perfect if you're away on holiday but don't want to miss a big match. Their happy hour's an absolute must for any partygoer craving brilliant drinks deals. Try one of their craft beers on offer; some are even brewed here on the island. Complete with a pool table and darts board, this bar has everything you need to enjoy a relaxed night out. It's hand down one of the best bars in San Antonio Bay.

A short walk away, you'll find Jonny's Pub. This place offers excellent value for money on drinks, plays the best tunes, and has big-screen TVs all over the joint. The music here's always a crowd pleaser: think classic pop, disco favourites, and good, old-fashioned rock 'n' roll. Both bars offer food and, if you've stayed out longer than you intended, their breakfasts are some of the best on the island.

ESSIGI

If you love electro beats, this is one of the best clubs in San Antonio Bay. It's a real treat for the senses. Enjoy delicious drinks, dance the night away, and watch the impressive visual show. Complete with 3D graphics on high-res LED screens and brightly coloured laser lights, you're certainly in for a sensory overload of epic proportions. This experience is best described as unique; there's a good chance you'll have never been on a visual journey quite like this before.

San Antonio Town

You won't find many San Antonio Bay clubs open after midnight, which is one of the many reasons this easy-going resort appeals to those with children or couples looking for a quiet getaway. However, if you do want to party the night away, San Antonio Town is easy to get to. Just hop on a Disco Bus or walk there. San Antonio Town's world famous for its clubbing scene, with party powerhouses such as Pacha and Ibiza Rocks drawing the biggest crowds.

Although San Antonio Bay nightlife might be low-key when compared to the likes of San Antonio and Ibiza Town, it offers the best of both worlds. You've got the chance to enjoy the quieter clubs in San Antonio Bay as well as having easy access to one of Ibiza's liveliest resorts just up the road.
