Discover the best beaches in San Antonio Bay
The stunning San Antonio Bay is easily one of the most beautiful bays in the whole of the Mediterranean. Its sweeping, golden sands and azure blue waters draw holidaymakers to its shores year after year.
But the bay itself is actually made up of no less than five smaller beaches and coves, all connected by the picturesque promenade that runs along its entire length. Es Puet is the first little beach that you reach from San Antonio and is perfect for taking a leisurely paddle in its calm, shallow waters. So it's ideal if you have kids with you too, as they can safely play in the sea here.
There are snack bars and restaurants nearby and there's a ferry boat service to take you to other beaches in the area. The jetty here is also popular for fishing or feeding the fish , whichever you prefer to do. The two coves of S'Estanyol Beach are great for water sports and one of them has a bar specialising in incredible barbecues throughout the summer months.
Then the next one along is Playa Pinet, which is also good for water sports and has become known as Reggae Beach, thanks to the Reggae Reggae Bar's lively afternoon atmosphere.
Playa Xinxo, or Playa Bella as it's more commonly known, is the last beach along the bay and is home to the popular Kumharas bar and restaurant.
Just around the corner from the bay is Playa Port des Torrent with its tranquil waters, perfect for snorkelling.
Then, of course, there's San Antonio Beach itself, right down the opposite end. So no matter what type of beach you're looking for, you'll find the one that's right for you at some point along the bay, so why not try a few of them?
