Designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1980, this enormous park holds sites and artefacts from as far back as the Neolithic era, through the Middle Ages and into Roman Times. You'll find Roman villas, sporting beautiful, mosaic floors and an extensive range of monuments such as the Tomb of the Kings, the Asklipieion, and the remains of an ancient Christian Basilica.
Venture further and you visit the famous Aphrodite's Rock, which is said to mark the birthplace of the goddess.
