Dodger Stadium
See one of the oldest baseball stadiums in Major League Baseball with a visit to Dodger Stadium. Whether you're going there to watch a game, on a stadium tour, or just to explore the area on your own, it's a must-see on your holiday to Los Angeles. Even if you're not a baseball fan, you'll be impressed by the incredible views from Elysian Park where the stadium is.
Found to the northeast of the city, you'll see Downtown LA's skyscrapers rising into the sky one way, and the famous Hollywood Hills the other. The 56,000-seat stadium is also an impressive sight, a huge open-air ballpark which has four tiers in the grandstand.
If you're going to Dodger Stadium on a game day, you'll be surrounded by a sea of fans excitedly making their way inside. Get your LA Dodgers shirt on and head inside the ground to see the atmosphere build up as the game gets closer.
If you'd rather take a tour of the stadium than see a game, there are three times you can choose from between 10am and 1pm. As part of your 90 minute tour, you'll be taken down to the playing field, see the press box and even get to sit in the home dugout.
If you want an extra-special experience, go for the Clubhouse Tour, where you'll also visit the Dodger Bullpen and see the team's weight room and batting cage.
After your trip to Dodger Stadium, head to Venice Beach and relax in the soft sand and sunshine after exploring the promenade. Then head to the Griffith Observatory for a beautiful sunset, before spending your next day in Los Angeles having lots of fun at Universal Studios Hollywood.
