See The Turtles On Iztuzu Beach
Iztuzu Beach can be found in a secluded cove and has a long stretch of soft fine sand, that's easily accessible via a peaceful boat ride along the river. The sandy shores are popular among tourists and sea creatures alike.
After dark, the beach is reclaimed by endangered loggerhead turtles that use the sand to nest, which are then visibly marked by ecologists. The protected beach is 13 kilometres south of Dalyan and has crystal clear water that's both warm and calm, making it perfect for swimming in.
Dine in the stunning setting at the small selection of quaint cafés just off the beach. Relax on sunloungers and take shade under parasols whilst taking in the picturesque views of the landscape and even try to spot the magnificent sea creatures that live in the turquoise waters.
