For a day away from the beach, venture inland to visit the Parque de la Bateria, which translates to Battery Park and showcases military relics in a beautiful botanical garden. The park is free to enter and well maintained, with green lawns, colourful flora and flourishing trees. It can be found on top of a hill and provides fantastic views of Torremolinos and the glistening coast.
The park is closed in winter but visiting in summer will ensure the picturesque floral displays are in full bloom. Enjoy the serene setting and see the exhibited cannons and tanks on display as well as the attractive fountains. There's even a play area for children and a boating lake where you can experience the beauty of the park from the water.
