Tivoli World Spain
If you're looking for some seriously good entertainment, Tivoli World Spain is an amusement park with shows that'll keep the whole family happy. Opened in 1972, it's added new attractions over the years to create this fun and original amusement park. This is a unique experience on the Costa del Sol and has something for the whole family. Open Wednesday to Sunday from 5pm until midnight. There are rides for all ages, shows and themed restaurants and bars, and plenty to keep everyone entertained. The rides and attractions are set within fountains and gardens. The many squares and open spaces have entertainment shows on all day and there are plenty of places to eat and drink.
Tivoli World rides
From a giant Ferris wheel with views over Malaga to the Mansion of Terror, Tivoli World is full of fun rides for the whole family. There are some height restrictions on the rides, with some requiring children to be taller than 140cm and others requiring a height over 110cm. There are plenty of children's rides for everyone to enjoy. Lose your sense of gravity on the Tower of Fall. This 60m tower gives you views over the Tivoli world theme park as well as letting you feel the force of gravity. If you have little ones, or just want a break from walking in the heat, take the little train. It's a great thing to do when you first arrive, so you get to know where everything is without getting tired. Plus, it's a fun way to see the whole park. Challenge your friends and family to a race on the Go-Karts. See who's fastest in six laps around the course. Or enter the world of the wild west in the Far West corner of the park. Try out your skills as a cowboy and take a ride on a bucking bronco. One of the oldest attractions in the park is the Mysterious Boat. This funny attraction requires a minimum height of 120cm so it's not suitable for small children. You're in for a wet ride on the log flume. This ride's sure to get the whole family laughing as you splash your way around (maybe pack some dry clothes for cooler days), perfect to cool off from the heat. Head to Tivoliandia with the smallest members of your family. This section of the park has 11 rides for the youngest thrill seekers. With a Children's rollercoaster, Baby Boats, Tivoli jungle with a train and pirates, your little ones get to experience Tivoli to the full. From Bollywood to Broadway, international variety shows and cabaret, there's something to suit every taste at Tivoli World Malaga. There's a show on every hour in one of the many of plazas throughout the park. You'll be able to see a traditional Flamenco and folklore shows at Tivoli World, or head to the outdoor theatre, where many of the evening entertainment can be seen. Entry to Tivoli World Costa del Sol is under ten euros, so it's a cheap family day out. Over 65s and those under one meter tall get in for free. If you buy your ticket online you can save almost a quarter of the price you'd pay on the gate. Once in the park, you'll have to pay a small charge for each ride. You can buy a wristband for around 15 euros that lets you on most (but not all) of the rides as many times as you want, which works out much cheaper than paying individually each time. All the shows are free. Not included are Terror Mansion, Go-Karts, Shock Boats and Pony Express. You can buy a separate pass for those rides for under ten euros. If you don't get to see everything on your first trip, don't worry. You can use your ticket to visit Tivoli World Benalmadena again for free in the same month. Tivoli World is easily accessed by car, bus or train from everywhere on the Costa del Sol. There are over 30 restaurants, bar and snack shacks around the park.
