Palma International Boat Show In Majorca

Love all things nautical? Head to the Palma Boat Show and you'll find everything from fishing dinghies to super yachts. Held around the last week of April to the first week of May, this five-day boat fair takes place in Palma's beautiful harbour at La Llonja, with the iconic cathedral as its backdrop.

Whether you're after your very own boat to whip around the world's sunniest sailing spots, or simply want to take in the show's exhibitions, you won't find a more stunning setting for a boat show than in Palma.

More than 500 exhibitors

Wander around the open-air Palma Boat Show and join more than 500 exhibitors representing 4000 renowned boat and marine brands. From tiny dinghies to superyachts, there's everything on show here if you're nautically inclined! Soak up Majorca's warm sunshine as you take a closer look at boats at the Balearic Island's largest on-waterboat show. You can climb aboard luxury vessels and check out all the latest technology and marine gadgets that have recently been designed to improve comfort, handling, safety and performance of boats.

Open to everyone, the Palma Boat Show is one of the best and still manages to retain its special charm. The show even showcases traditional Mallorquin Llats, which are still used today and seen bobbing around in the island's ports. These carefully crafted wooden boats are a piece of Mallorcan history and well worth seeing.

For those more interested in an adrenaline rush, head to the Nautiparts stand. One of the most established water sports shops on the island, you'll see a huge selection of water toys like jet skis, motorised surfboards, seabobs, and massive sea inflatables. You can refuel around the show as well, with champagne bars, bar areas, and tapas stalls dotted amongst the boating exhibitions.

Late-night parties

It's not all about the daytime exhibitions either, as there's lots to do after the sun sets too. Attend the lively late-night parties and you'll be greeted by marine stalls, food, drinks, and live music. Enjoy the party atmosphere and chat to fellow yachting and boating enthusiasts.

Impressive surroundings

Before you head to the Palma Boat Show, take advantage of the impressive surroundings with a wander around this enduring city. Dating back to the 13th century, it's a mix of honey-coloured townhouses, bars, restaurants and galleries. Stroll through the medieval streets, enjoy a coffee in the busy public squares, and explore the striking Gothic cathedral and Palau de l'Almudaina.

There's plenty of harbourside restaurants to sit down and relax in after a hard day browsing your next yacht purchase at the Palma Boat Show (as long as those winning lottery numbers come in!), with lots of standout seafood options to choose from.

Why not top off a trip to Palma and a visit to the boat show with a relaxing and fun day on a boat trip around Palma Bay? Cruise out to sea and enjoy views of the clear Mediterranean waters and the western Majorca shoreline. Relax and sunbathe on the boats benches and nets, or take advantage of several swimming opportunities on the way.
