Find your perfect beach in Majorca
Majorca's beaches have a reputation for being beautiful, with so many Blue Flags that we've lost count.
While there are lots of pretty little coves around Majorca's coast (including several beneath the cliffs at Calas de Mallorca), it's the long stretches of sand that are the most impressive and offer the best variety of facilities for a great day at the beach.
You'll find the island's longest beach in Alcudia Bay, starting in Alcudia and continuing for 11 kilometres all the way to Ca'n Picafort.
A close contender for the title is Arenal's Beach, walk far enough along it and you'll get to Palma, the capital city.
We're pretty sure you'll love the white sand beach of Playa de Muro, especially if you're going to Majorca on a family holiday. It's the perfect place to take the kids as the water is shallow and the atmosphere is quieter than at many other resorts. Wherever you go you should be able to hire sun loungers and parasols, buy drinks and snacks, or even do a little holiday shopping on the seafront, as chilled out days at the beach are a way of life in Majorca's resorts.
