Playa De Muro Beach In Majorca
As you step onto the fine white sands at Playa de Muro Beach, it's easy to see why this is one of the most popular beaches in all of Majorca. Found in the north of the island near Alcudia and just ten minutes by car from Ca'n Picafort, Playa de Muro Beach is a must-visit on your holiday in the sun.
After arriving at the beach, walk through the sand dunes and hire a sun lounger and parasol or simply lay out a towel before padding in the cool, clear waters. Stretching along more than three miles of coastline, Playa de Muro has been awarded a Blue Flag for cleanliness and safety.
If you have children, you can keep them entertained at the play park, trampoline and giant maze. There are lifeguards on the beach, which is great for extra peace of mind.
If you're feeling energetic, there's a water sports centre where you can hire jet skis or take lessons in windsurfing, kiteboarding and more.
After relaxing on the beach, it's worth paying a visit to the S'Albufereta Nature Park which backs onto Playa de Muro. At the nature park you can go bird watching, hiking or cycling, making sure your day is truly action-packed.
If you're feeling thirsty, pull up a stool at one of the many bars along the beach or take your time over a delicious meal of freshly-cooked seafood at the coastal restaurants. If you're in the mood to party, the Banana Club at Alcudia Beach is within walking distance.
