Parc Natural De Mondrago
One of the best places to get some proper relaxation, Parc Natural de Mondrago is perfect for sun lovers, walkers and nature spotters. You'll feel like you're really getting away from it all in this beautiful nature reserve with its coves, wetlands and birdlife, even if you don't stray from the sands of one of the park's secluded beaches.
Cala Mondrago and S'Amarador are perhaps the best known beaches; they might be out of the way but you can still hire sunloungers and parasols if you want to stretch out and listen to the sea, and both have a café too.
Even if you think you'll spend all your time unwinding on the sand, make sure you take some footwear other than flip-flops. The walking trails beyond the dunes onto the cliffs and into the pine trees are very tempting. You'll also find that some of the rocky ground around the beaches is very uneven, and you'll need to cross it when you arrive.
You could hike to Parc Natural de Mondrago from Cala d'Or if you feel like a long walk and the sun's not too strong, but it's better to travel by boat, bus or car; especially if you want to explore the trails when you get there.
