Fundación Yannick Y Ben Jakober in Alcudia
See one of Spain's most unique collections of artwork with a visit to Fundacion Yannick y Ben Jakober. Just a short drive east of Alcudia, the museum is home to a fascinating collection of art and sculpture, making this a must-visit on your holiday to Majorca.
As you step inside the North African style house, you'll explore the unique artwork in the surroundings of this beautiful building. Take your time looking through the collection of children's portraits, knowns as ”Nins', dated between the 16th and 19th centuries. Look out for the different toys, costumes and pets, giving an interesting peek into the life of young royals and nobility at the time.
After browsing the work inside the Fundación building, including a curtain made with 10,000 Swarovski crystals and the fossilised skeleton of a woolly rhinoceros, go outside to the sculpture garden.
