Poland - currency

The currency used in Poland is the Polish złoty (PLN).

Notes are 10 złotych, 20 złotych, 50 złotych, 100 złotych, 200 złotych and 500 złotych. Coins are 1 grosz, 2 grosze, 5 groszy, 10 groszy, 20 groszy, 50 groszy, 1 złoty, 2 złoty and 5 złoty. Credit cards are widely accepted across Poland and you’ll find a network of ATMs.

However, you might want to carry some cash around with you too. In that case, we recommend buying your travel money before you leave the UK. You can exchange your sterling at a local post office or bank before you jet off.

Alternatively, you can order a travel money card, which offers an efficient way to carry money on holiday.
