Wine Tasting in Sardinia
As well as being a stunning summer holiday destination, Sardinia is well known for its delicious wine. The wine produced on the island tastes a lot different to those produced in the rest of Italy. This may be because of the remote Mediterranean location and historic influences, changing the way the wine is produced over time.
In the 16th century Sardinia was nicknamed the wine island as around 20 different regions produce wine on the island. Spend an afternoon wine tasting to sample the wines unique character that is said to be a lot similar to Spanish wine than Italian.
