Zante Water Village Greece

A trip to Zante is hardly complete without visiting the Zante Watervillage, one of biggest waterparks in Greece. This incredible place is filled with fun things for children and adults to do and you can easily spend a whole day here. Just a short journey from Zante town, this park has tons of attractions with water slides, lazy rivers and Jacuzzis.

With the Greek sunshine beating down on you all day long, you can grab a rubber ring and get the whole family sliding down Boomerang Tower, or ditch the rings and race each other down Family Tower where you'll side by side all the way to the splashpool.  

Fun for all ages

With a baby pool, even the littlest kids will have lots of splashing around to do while teenagers and adults can get their adrenaline rush from the free fall slides like Kamikaze and the High Speed Hydrotube. The Free Fall Plus is a near vertical drop, and you'll get a mat to ride on if you're brave enough for the Head-Down Mat Racer.

At Zante Waterpark small children can spend all day on the octopus slides, the Slippery Rabbit and have a blast under the Shower Mushrooms. You don't need to leave the park when it's time to eat either because the Zante Watervillage has lots of options for food.

With a restaurant, a snack bar and even the Stone Bar for the adults, refueling for the next huge water slide is delicious and easy. When the sun gets too hot, take a break at the gelateria and sample all the ice cream you want.  

An unforgettable day

Some slides have photo opportunities where you can head to the photo shop afterwards and see all the crazy expressions you and your family were pulling when you hurtled down in a shower of spray. These photos will make you smile years down the road and you'll be booking your return trip in no time.

If you've forgotten any of the essentials, there's a shop in the park that has you covered. From towels and suncream to armbands for the kids and even souvenirs, everything you need is right here. The Zante Waterpark has great facilities too, with changing rooms, toilets and showers. There are free sunloungers and umbrellas so you can relax in the Greek warmth while the kids take another loop around the lazy river.  

It's not all about the water

There's much more to this waterpark than water. Why not let the whole family loose on the go-kart track? With a 14-hole mini golf course, you can all practice your swings and see who's got a natural talent for it. Whether you're with friends or family, the Zante Waterpark has no end of entertainment.

The dry land activities even extend to a penalty shoot out pitch and trampolines. You're going to need another visit to the snack bar to keep your energy levels up at this rate. After exhausting yourself on the trampolines, it's time to take another dip in the pools and a few more exhilarating water slides.  

Easy to get to

Zante Watervillage is really easy to get to and has a huge car park if you've hired a car for your holiday. Otherwise take the bus or catch a taxi there. Children under 4 years old get free entry, and there are also baby-changing facilities onsite.

Being so close to Zante town, this waterpark is a must-visit attraction and afterwards you can reminisce about your day and know that you'll sleep very soundly. Open from 10am from May to October, the Zante Watervillage will go down as one of the best days out so get your swimming stuff, grab the suncream, and head out!
