Waterparks In Rhodes Greece
If you're heading off on a family holiday to Rhodes, you won't have to worry about keeping the little ones occupied. This island has plenty to offer visitors of all ages; you'll love playing on the beaches with your little ones and splashing around in the sea.
But beyond the shoreline, you can expect to find even more family-friendly attractions. Rhodes' waterparks are some of the island's most popular destinations; they're always a big hit with big and little ones alike, and they're a great option when you feel like cooling off from the hot Greek sunshine.
Rhodes waterpark holidays
If you fancy a splashtastic family adventure, then you could make a Rhodes waterpark the focus of your holiday. We have a great selection of hotels with their very own waterparks, which promise to keep the kids entertained for hours and hours. So if you want slides and splash pools right on your doorstep, this is the way to do it.
Amada Colossos Resort
One of your hotel options is Amada Colossos Resort; it's in a great setting overlooking Kalithea's stunning sandy beach and you can expect to find all kinds of leisure facilities here. Within the hotel's extensive grounds, you've got six swimming pools plus a full-size Rhodes waterpark with loads of different zones.
You'll love zooming down the waterslides (there's a body slide, a rafting slide and even a black hole) and play around the Aquatower. And you could even try your hand water volleyball and water basketball. When you're ready to relax, you can chill out in the dedicated lounge and sunbathing areas, or grab a bite to eat at the snack bar.
SunConnect Cyprotel Faliraki
Another place with an on-site Rhodes waterpark is SunConnect Cyprotel Faliraki, just 1.5km from the heart of Faliraki. As well as two brilliant swimming pools, you've got thrilling slides; look out for the speedy kamikaze slide and the white hole. And then there's a smaller splash pool for the little ones, complete with gentler activities. It's open from 10am until 6pm, and there's always a lifeguard on duty.
Adults can stretch out on the sun loungers and soak up the sunshine, or pick up a sandwich and a cool drink from the snack bar if you're feeling peckish. If you do feel like heading to the beach, a free bus will take you straight there from outside the hotel.
You're sure to be ready for dinner on the rooftop bar by the time you get back.
Faliraki Waterpark
You don't have to book a stay in a Rhodes waterpark hotel to experience the fun of speedy slides and splash pools for yourself. You can stay wherever you like and make your way to the east coast of the island to enjoy the ultimate family day out. The biggest Rhodes waterpark will be waiting for you here. Just outside the lively resort of Faliraki, you'll discover the very best Rhodes waterpark, which is also the largest in Europe (it covers an area of 100,000 square metres).
This is a serious day out for all the family, and there's endless fun to be had here for kids (and adults of all ages). You can expect daring speed slides, twisters, black holes and free fall drops that'll have you squealing all the way down! And if you're feeling really brave, you can take on the kamikaze slides, too.
When you're ready to take a break, slow things down over at the laid-back wave pool or the lazy river. And back on dry land, you can have a go at the bumper cars before grabbing a hot dog at the snack bar. If you're driving, you'll find plenty of on-site parking. And if you're heading in from the centre of Faliraki or the south of the island, you can make the most of the free bus transfer service.
Faliraki Waterpark is open from May to October. Tickets cost approximately £16 for kids and £24 for adults. Toddlers under three years old go free of charge.
