Unlike many other travel companies we operate on a trust account model. Once we’ve paid the airline for your flights, the rest of your money is held in a trust account. We do not have access to this directly and can only withdraw funds when you are back home from holiday
All of our holidays that include flights are protected by the ATOL scheme from the moment you book. So if one of our suppliers fails, you’ll get your money back. If you’re left stranded abroad, a flight home will be arranged at no extra cost. Our ATOL number is 11806
As proud ABTA members we deliver the highest standards when it comes to our holidays. So if you book with us you’re guaranteed the best service. Our ABTA number is P8283, Y6720.
The currency in Hurghada is the Egyptian Pound. While some places accept dollars and sterling, especially in the bigger resorts, we recommend using local currency.
There are several ways to get your Hurghada currency. You can exchange before you go, and many travellers find our online ordering service is super-convenient and you can have currency delivered to home or work (delivery is free over £500). Our advice is when you order ask for a mix of denominations, to make it easier to pay for smaller purchases and to tip, especially when you first arrive.
Another option is to use your credit or debit card to withdraw Hurghada currency when you reach Egypt. This is convenient, but it can be expensive. Check whether your card provider charges fees for transactions abroad and check whether the ATM you are using in resort charges a fee.
