Visit the Las Vegas Strip
Stretching for four miles and lined with some of the city’s most iconic buildings, the Strip is the true heart of Las Vegas. On your trip to Sin City, you’ll spend plenty of time exploring the attractions on this vibrant and sometimes outrageous avenue, so grab your camera and prepare for an adventure like no other.
As you walk along the palm-lined Strip, you’ll see some of the biggest Las Vegas landmarks, including Caesars Palace, Bellagio and The Venetian. Huge elaborate fountains give way to big restaurants, shopping malls, and indoor theme parks, while the pavements are packed full of tourists making their way from one attraction to the next. With so much to see and do, it’s perfectly possible to spend your entire holiday on the Strip.
If you’re travelling from one end of the Strip to the other, you can take the Deuce double decker bus, running from Mandalay Bay to the Fremont Street Experience downtown. Or you can catch the Strip and Downtown Express. Other hop-on, hop-off transport includes the Las Vegas Monorail and the Mandalay Bay Tram.
In the evening, walk through the open-air terraces as you go from casino to casino. To experience the true showmanship of Las Vegas, go and see a Cirque du Soleil performance or see a residency from legendary stars including Elton John, Mariah Carey and Britney Spears.
To really make the most of the Las Vegas nightlife, pay a visit to one of the many iconic clubs, including Omnia, LAX and Hakkasan at the MGM Grand, with guest DJs including the likes of Calvin Harris, Tiesto and even Paris Hilton.
