Barbados is the birthplace of rum, so it's no wonder this place loves to party! You can start early in the island's neighbourhood rum shops, before enjoying the after-dark rum scene. Head for Fish Fry in Oistins (a locals' favourite party spot) or catch the bus to St Lawrence Gap, where you'll find clubs and bars perfect for every traveller's taste.

Aruba nightlife begins with an early, laid-back dinner before things liven up later on. First on your list of places to visit should be Soprano's Piano Bar and Se ñor Frogs in Palm Beach. This energetic island's home to a wealth of bustling resort bars, on top of plenty of non-touristy sports, which will give you a taste of the local life.
