Unlike many other travel companies we operate on a trust account model. Once we’ve paid the airline for your flights, the rest of your money is held in a trust account. We do not have access to this directly and can only withdraw funds when you are back home from holiday
All of our holidays that include flights are protected by the ATOL scheme from the moment you book. So if one of our suppliers fails, you’ll get your money back. If you’re left stranded abroad, a flight home will be arranged at no extra cost. Our ATOL number is 11806
As proud ABTA members we deliver the highest standards when it comes to our holidays. So if you book with us you’re guaranteed the best service. Our ABTA number is P8283, Y6720.
What's the weather like in New York in November?
You'll get continental weather if you're going to New York, which is on the east coast of the United States. Things are getting colder in November as the chilly winter gets closer. It’s still a great time to visit The City That Never Sleeps, as long as you take lots of warm clothes with you.
Climatic influences
New York has four distinct seasons, and things do get cold in winter. The Appalachian Mountains and offshore winds stop the Atlantic Ocean making things even colder though. New York City’s tall buildings and skyscrapers also trap some heat, and will give you some shelter from the wind.
Averages
The average high in New York’s 12ºC in November, which drops to a chilly 5ºC at night. Make sure you bring a hat and scarf as well as a big coat. You'll probably want to stay out of the sea as it’s just 12ºC, but at least there’s no humidity to worry about. There’s 69mm of rain over 12 days, although you can still expect ten hours of daylight each day with five hours of sunshine. UV levels will be low. The sunset comes forward to 4.45pm in early November when daylight saving ends.
