What’s the weather like in Hawaii in January?
With hundreds of islands, Hawaii experiences a diverse weather system with dry coastal areas and wetter mountainous regions. Even in the depths of winter, Hawaii enjoys beautifully warm weather making it the perfect sunny holiday destination. Although January is the coldest month of the year, the day time is still wonderfully warm, and ideal for spending days on the picturesque beaches. January is still part of the wet season, but it usually only rains overnight. Rain is most likely in the northern and eastern regions, so visit the southern coasts to avoid the showers and pack a light waterproof just in case.
