Unlike many other travel companies we operate on a trust account model. Once we’ve paid the airline for your flights, the rest of your money is held in a trust account. We do not have access to this directly and can only withdraw funds when you are back home from holiday
All of our holidays that include flights are protected by the ATOL scheme from the moment you book. So if one of our suppliers fails, you’ll get your money back. If you’re left stranded abroad, a flight home will be arranged at no extra cost. Our ATOL number is 11806
As proud ABTA members we deliver the highest standards when it comes to our holidays. So if you book with us you’re guaranteed the best service. Our ABTA number is P8283, Y6720.
What’s the weather like in Turkey in December?
Turkey is a rare transcontinental country as it sits in both Asia and Europe. This means it’ll have different weather depending on where you are going. Temperatures are lowest across most of the country in December, although you'll find it’s still nice and mild. Destinations on the Aegean and Mediterranean coast are perfect for Turkey holidays during the winter as you'll still experience Mediterranean weather but with increased rainfall. You'll find things are wettest on the Black Sea coast while there’s less rain on the Sea of Marmara.
Averages
The average high in the popular resort of Antalya, on the south coast, is 16ºC in December. You'll still be able to soak up some sun in the day, but things can get quite chilly in the evenings when it can cool to 7ºC. The sea temperature’s 19ºC, while humidity’s low. There’s 246mm of rain over 13 days, and you can expect ten hours of daylight with five hours of sunshine each day. UV levels will be low. Sunset’s around 4.45pm.
