What’s the weather like in Dalaman in December?
The Dalaman weather in December is mild and pleasant, with lots of winter sunshine making your trip extremely pleasant. Visitors to this popular region in south west Turkey relax in resorts like Fethiye, Hisaronu, Icmeler and Marmaris. It’s the wettest time of the year though so you’ll need to bring a light jacket.
Geographical influences
The main geographical influence on Turkey’s Dalaman region, which is also known as the Turquoise Coast, are the surrounding seas. The Mediterranean and the Aegean are still warm in December, at an average of 18°C, and these mild waters stop the air from cooling too much and keep temperatures enjoyable at resorts along the Dalaman coast.
