Unlike many other travel companies we operate on a trust account model. Once we’ve paid the airline for your flights, the rest of your money is held in a trust account. We do not have access to this directly and can only withdraw funds when you are back home from holiday
All of our holidays that include flights are protected by the ATOL scheme from the moment you book. So if one of our suppliers fails, you’ll get your money back. If you’re left stranded abroad, a flight home will be arranged at no extra cost. Our ATOL number is 11806
As proud ABTA members we deliver the highest standards when it comes to our holidays. So if you book with us you’re guaranteed the best service. Our ABTA number is P8283, Y6720.
What’s the weather like in Turkey in August?
With land in both Asia and Europe, Turkey’s a transcontinental country with different weather depending on where you're going. Plan your holidays to Turkey in August and take advantage of hot weather and barely any rain, particularly at the most popular holiday destinations. Places on the Aegean and Mediterranean coasts have Mediterranean weather, with August being one of the hottest months of the year. You'll have a bit more rain on the Black Sea coast while there’s less on the Sea of Marmara.
Averages
The average high in popular Antalya on the south coast is 34ºC in August, and you won’t need many warm clothes as temperatures only drop to 21ºC at night. The sea’s perfect for swimming at 29ºC and humidity’s high. There’s just 5mm of rain and you can expect 14 hours of daylight with 12 hours of sunshine each day. Take care in the sun and apply sun cream as UV levels will be very high. Sunset’s just after 8pm at the start of the month, gradually getting earlier.
