The Lara Beach weather in August is superb. It boasts long, hot and dry days packed with plenty of famous Mediterranean sunshine. Lara Beach is an 8km stretch of glorious sand and pebble beach on Turkey’s south coast, between the resorts of Antalya and Belek.
Geographical influences
The main geographical influence on the Lara Beach area are the Taurus Mountains. This huge range of mountains run parallel to the Mediterranean. They can block some of the colder air that sometimes blows from the north to the south of Turkey, meaning Lara Beach can be a bit warmer than other coastal areas which do receive the winds.
