Geographical influences
Tunisia has a wonderful location on the northern tip of Africa, with the Mediterranean sea by its pretty eastern coastline. Here, the temperature rarely dips below 30°C during the day, but the sea breeze is very refreshing and helps keep you comfortable. The south of Tunisia’s warmer than the north, and the inland Sahara deserts can see extreme heat in August and July.

Even on rare days, when a few clouds appear, it’ll only dip to around 23°C and at night it should average 19°C. There’s no need to worry about showers during August in Tunisia.
