What’s the weather like in Marbella in June?
As the first official month of summer, June is a great month to visit Marbella in Spain. With its warm Mediterranean climate, the resort has warm temperatures and plenty of sunshine at this time of year, while it’s generally quieter than the busy high season in July and August. If you’re planning on swimming or snorkelling in the clear blue seas, the water is pleasantly mild too.
Averages
On average, daytime temperatures in June hover around 22°C, with highs of 27°C. With such strong, hot sunshine, you’ll need to wear plenty of sun cream and seek shade during the hottest part of the day. At night the temperature dips to around 17°C, so it’s worth packing a few light layers for evenings out. In June, Marbella expects just 13mm of rain over the course of the month, so the chance of wet weather’s very low. For visits to the beach, the sea temperature’s a mild 20°C.
