What’s the weather like in Marbella in February?
Located on Spain’s Costa del Sol, Marbella is a popular place to enjoy mild year-round temperatures. Although February is one of the coldest months in Marbella, temperatures are still pleasant and much warmer than the brisk UK winters. With the cooler weather, it’s a good month to get out and about exploring the cultural sights without sweltering in the summer heat. There is a risk of rain in February, but there’s less chance of wet weather as the month goes on. Whenever you visit, make sure you bring a raincoat and prepare for showers.
Averages
In February the average temperature in Marbella is around 12°C, with highs of 18°C in the hottest part of the day. Overnight the temperature can drop to 9°C, so make sure you pack plenty of layers for evenings out. On average Marbella sees 75mm of rain during the month, with around five wet days in total. There are six hours of sunshine each day, with sea temperatures hovering around 16°C, so you’ll need to be brave if you go swimming.
