Puerto del Carmen is a lovely beach resort on the south-east coast of Lanzarote. As part of the Canary Islands, which are nicknamed the ‘Islands of Eternal Spring’, Puerto del Carmen has a subtropical climate bringing great weather to the area all year round. Temperatures continue to rise in May with summer just around the corner. This is a great month to visit if you want to avoid the busy summer crowds, while still getting lots of warm and sunny weather.
