Unlike many other travel companies we operate on a trust account model. Once we’ve paid the airline for your flights, the rest of your money is held in a trust account. We do not have access to this directly and can only withdraw funds when you are back home from holiday
All of our holidays that include flights are protected by the ATOL scheme from the moment you book. So if one of our suppliers fails, you’ll get your money back. If you’re left stranded abroad, a flight home will be arranged at no extra cost. Our ATOL number is 11806
As proud ABTA members we deliver the highest standards when it comes to our holidays. So if you book with us you’re guaranteed the best service. Our ABTA number is P8283, Y6720.
What’s the weather like in Majorca in May?
Located in the Balearic Islands, Majorca’s weather is typical of the area and gets hotter as May goes on. You can look forward to plenty of sunshine as summer gets closer, with sea temperatures and sunshine hours also improving.
Geographical influences
The weather is different around Majorca due to the island being quite mountainous. The south’s usually a bit warmer and drier than the north because of north westerly winds, which the mountains block. You'll be kept cool by the local embat wind on the coast, which is welcome in May as things get hotter.
Averages
The average high temperature in Majorca during May is 23ºC, so you'll be spending lots of time sunning yourself at the beach or by the pool. Have some fun at the shops picking out your new swimwear, but make sure you leave some space in your suitcase for some warmer clothes, as things can get quite cool at night. The average sea temperature’s 18ºC, while humidity’s low and range from around 50% to the mid-90s. Average rainfall’s 36mm over four rainy days.
Daylight
During May you can expect 14 hours of daylight with nine hours of sunshine each day. The UV index will rise to a very high level so make sure you protect yourself in the sun, which sets around 9pm throughout most of May.
