What's the weather like in Magaluf in March?
Located on the southwest coast of Majorca, Magaluf is a popular Balearic holiday destination. Famous for its beautiful weather and vibrant nightlife, the resort has a Mediterranean climate with hot summers and mild, damp winters. Although it’s still much cooler than the peak season, temperatures are starting to rise in March as springtime begins. There’s half the amount of rain compared to autumn, so this is a good month to visit Magaluf if you want to avoid the crowds and do lots of exploring.
Averages
The average temperature in Magaluf at this time of year’s 11ºC, with highs of a pleasant 17ºC in the warmest part of the afternoon. Although it can be t-shirt weather during the daytime, you’ll need some warmer layers for evenings out, as the temperature drops to a low of 5ºC at night. Around 35mm of rain’s expected over the course of 12 wet days, so the occasional light shower isn’t uncommon. You’ll need to be brave if you want to take a dip in the sea, with the Mediterranean waters measuring a brisk 15ºC in March.
