What's the weather like in Magaluf in August?
Located on the southwestern coast of Majorca, Magaluf has a Mediterranean climate with mild, damp winters and hot, dry summers. In August the resort’s warm and sunny, perfect for relaxing on the beach, trying out new water sports or exploring the sights inland. Although it’s busier at this time of year, the high season brings the very best weather for your holiday in the sun.

At this time of year, the average temperature in Magaluf is 25°C, with highs of 30°C in the peak of the afternoon. With high UV levels during the day, you’ll need to apply sun cream regularly, seek shade and stay hydrated, especially if you’re visiting with young children. Just 20mm of rain is expected over the course of August, so the chance of wet weather’s very low. After dark, temperatures dip only slightly to 19°C, ideal for evenings out, while the Mediterranean waters are a warm 26°C.
