Unlike many other travel companies we operate on a trust account model. Once we’ve paid the airline for your flights, the rest of your money is held in a trust account. We do not have access to this directly and can only withdraw funds when you are back home from holiday
All of our holidays that include flights are protected by the ATOL scheme from the moment you book. So if one of our suppliers fails, you’ll get your money back. If you’re left stranded abroad, a flight home will be arranged at no extra cost. Our ATOL number is 11806
As proud ABTA members we deliver the highest standards when it comes to our holidays. So if you book with us you’re guaranteed the best service. Our ABTA number is P8283, Y6720.
What’s the weather like in Majorca in January?
Located in the Mediterranean Sea and one of Spain’s Balearic islands, Majorca has a mild year-round climate. January is often the coldest month on the island, so if you visit in the new year you’ll need to pack plenty of layers, especially for the cooler evenings. The risk of rain is higher in the winter months so you’ll need a raincoat too, but wet weather is often confined to just a few showers.
Averages
In January, Majorca experiences average temperatures of 10°C with highs of 15°C. In the evening it can get much colder, with temperatures plunging to 5°C, so jumpers are essential. At this time of year, the sea can be as cold as 7°C, so you’ll need to be brave or wear a wetsuit if you want to take a dip. Majorca usually has around 11 rainy days and five overcast days each month, with two hours of sunshine a day. Sunset is at 5.35pm at the beginning of the month.
