What’s the weather like in Prague in January?

Prague is quite cold in January, but don’t let that put you off. The winter is still a great time to visit if you aren’t a fan of the heat and prefer a more peaceful holiday experience.

Prague is the capital city of the Czech Republic and has an oceanic climate with cold winters and very little sunshine. Prague weather in January is very cold, with some of the lowest temperatures of the year. Snowfall is a possibility but you’re more likely to see more rain than snow in January.
