Unlike many other travel companies we operate on a trust account model. Once we’ve paid the airline for your flights, the rest of your money is held in a trust account. We do not have access to this directly and can only withdraw funds when you are back home from holiday
All of our holidays that include flights are protected by the ATOL scheme from the moment you book. So if one of our suppliers fails, you’ll get your money back. If you’re left stranded abroad, a flight home will be arranged at no extra cost. Our ATOL number is 11806

What's the weather like in Portugal in March?
Portugal’s mainland Europe’s furthest west country, sitting on the Iberian Peninsula surrounded by neighbouring Spain and the North Atlantic Ocean. It has a lovely climate that’s warming up in March as spring gets going. Temperatures rise all around the country and rain reduces after the wetter months of the year.
Climatic variances
There’s different weather across Portugal, with the south enjoying quite a typical Mediterranean climate, and things are warmed up by the Gulf Stream further up the west coast. Places inland tend to get higher temperatures as coastal locations are cooled by breezes, while popular Madeira’s off the northwest coast of Africa; it has a subtropical climate and hotter weather than mainland Portugal.
Averages
Capital city Lisbon gives a good idea of the weather across Portugal, and has an average high temperature of 19ºC in March. You should be fine in shorts and t-shirt during the day but bring some warmer clothes for the evenings as things get quite cool at night. The typical sea temperature’s 16ºC, while humidity’s low and expected rainfall’s 68mm over 13 rainy days. You can expect 12 hours of daylight with seven hours of sunshine each day, UV levels will be moderate and sunset’s at 6.30pm
