Unlike many other travel companies we operate on a trust account model. Once we’ve paid the airline for your flights, the rest of your money is held in a trust account. We do not have access to this directly and can only withdraw funds when you are back home from holiday
All of our holidays that include flights are protected by the ATOL scheme from the moment you book. So if one of our suppliers fails, you’ll get your money back. If you’re left stranded abroad, a flight home will be arranged at no extra cost. Our ATOL number is 11806

What's the weather like in Portugal in April?
Portugal lies on the Iberian Peninsula surrounded by neighbouring Spain and the North Atlantic Ocean. It’s Europe’s furthest west country and has lovely weather all year round with temperatures rising in April as summer approaches. There’s differences in weather around the country, but you'll generally get plenty of sunshine on holiday in Portugal during April.
Climatic variances
There's different weather in the north and south of Portugal, with things generally better in the south. The Algarve gets the best of the weather, while the Gulf Stream warms things further up the west coast. You'll be kept cool by breezes on the coast, while things can get hotter inland. The island of Madeira’s closer to Africa than Portugal, and is popular for its subtropical weather and beaches.
Averages
Capital city Lisbon gives a good idea of the weather around Portugal, and has an average high temperature of 20ºC in April. You'll be wandering around in shorts and t-shirt during the day but you should pack some warmer clothes for the evenings as it can get quite cool. The average sea temperature’s 16ºC, while humidity’s low and ranges from the low-50s to just over 90%. Average rainfall’s 64mm over 11 rainy days.
