What's the weather like in Praia da Rocha in October?
Praia da Rocha is a lovely beach resort which sits at the mouth of the Arade River on the south coast of Portugal. Part of the popular Algarve region, it has a Mediterranean climate bringing long, hot summers and mild winters to this picturesque region. Although it’s now autumn, the weather’s still warm here in October, with temperatures not far off their annual peak. Rain does pick up this month, but you can still expect lots of clear skies and sunshine if you visit at this time. Averages In October, the average temperature in Praia da Rocha is 19°C, rising to a high of 22°C in the warmest part of the afternoon. With nine long hours of sunshine each day, the weather’s still great for spending time at the beach.
