What's the weather like in Carvoeiro in October?
Carvoeiro is a beautiful town on the south coast of Portugal. Found in the country’s popular Algarve, it has a Mediterranean climate bringing long, hot summers and mild winters to the region. Conditions are cooling down in October, but temperatures are still quite warm this time of year. Although showers become more common this month, there’s still nine hours of sunshine to enjoy each day, so this is a great time to go on holiday to Carvoeiro if you like fewer crowds.
Averages
Carvoeiro has an average temperature of 19°C in October, with highs of 23°C in the warmest part of the day. You’ll still be able to enjoy some sun on the beach at this time, but it can be quite cool after dark so you’ll need some warmer layers for evenings out. Just under 70mm of rain’s expected in October, spread across 11 days, so it’s worth bringing a waterproof jacket in case you get caught in a shower. If you want to go for a dip in the sea, the Atlantic Ocean’s an inviting 22°C this month, no far off its warmest temperature.
