Alvor is a beautiful and quaint fishing village in the south of Portugal. A highlight of the country’s popular Algarve region, it has a lovely climate with warm weather all year round. If you want the best weather for relaxing on the beaches or playing a round of golf, without the risk of rain, visit Alvor towards the start of October.Averages
The average temperature in Alvor is 19°C at this time of year, rising to a high of 22°C in the hottest part of the afternoon. After sunset, the average low dips to 16°C, so you might need a light jumper or cardigan if you’re exploring the local shops, bars and restaurants in the evenings. Around 65mm of rain’s expected over the course of 21 days, so it’s worth bringing a waterproof or umbrella in case you get caught in a shower.
