All of our holidays that include flights are protected by the ATOL scheme from the moment you book. So if one of our suppliers fails, you’ll get your money back. If you’re left stranded abroad, a flight home will be arranged at no extra cost. Our ATOL number is 11806
As proud ABTA members we deliver the highest standards when it comes to our holidays. So if you book with us you’re guaranteed the best service. Our ABTA number is P8283, Y6720.
What’s the weather like in Nice in October?
Nice weather in October is mild and damp. Rainfall begins to pick up in October, so an umbrella is necessary if you’re planning to visit in autumn.
Geographical influences
Nice enjoys a typical Mediterranean climate with lots of sunshine throughout the year. Temperatures begin to decrease in October, but it’s still pleasant and mild enough to wear light clothing. Cooling winds from the north are channelled by the nearby mountains, which influences the city’s temperatures and helps control them from dropping too low.
Averages
Temperatures range from lows of 14°C to highs of 21°C in October, which is very mild and perfect for an autumn getaway. Comfortable temperatures make outdoor activities such as sightseeing and shopping more enjoyable as humidity levels have also lowered. Around 140mm of rainfall is expected over the month, which means there are at least eight rainy days scattered throughout the month. The average sea temperature is 20°C, which is still warm enough for a swim.
