What’s the weather like in Marrakech in November?
Marrakech has warm weather all year round as it’s so close to the Sahara Desert. November’s still nice and hot, although it’s cooler than summer, so you'll like this time if you'd rather avoid the scorching temperatures.
Atlas Mountains
Marrakech gets rain because it’s in the foothills of the Atlas Mountains. November’s one of the wettest months after the bone dry summer, although there’s still not much rain. You'll probably welcome the odd shower when it comes, as Marrakech is so far away from the sea. Despite this, it has quite low humidity, while you might see snow atop the Atlas Mountains in November.
Averages
The average high temperature during November is 23ºC, so you won’t need much more than shorts and a t-shirt during the day. You should pack some warmer clothes for the evenings though as things can get quite chilly, with temperatures dropping to around 10ºC at night. Humidity’s low and ranges from 30% to as much as 90%, while average rainfall’s 38mm across six rainy days.
Daylight
You can expect 11 hours of daylight with seven hours of sunshine in November. UV levels will be at moderate level so don't forget to bring your sun cream, while sunset’s around 5.30pm in November.
