What's the weather like in Morocco in March?

Located in North Africa with the Sahara Desert in the south, Morocco has warm weather in general during March. Temperatures are rising in spring, and you'll get lots of sun and not much rain if you're going to one of the country’s popular beach destinations at this time.

Climatic regions

Morocco’s geography means there’s different weather around the country, with coastal spots mainly having Mediterranean conditions. The North Atlantic coast’s cooled by the Canary Current, and this is where you'll find popular Agadir. The Sahara gives the south high temperatures, although it gets really cold at night, while inland areas including Marrakech also have hot weather; this is partly down to there being no nearby sea.

The typical high temperature in Agadir during March is 21ºC, although this falls to 11ºC at night so bring some warmer clothes for the evenings.
