What's the weather like in Morocco in June?

Located in North Africa with the Sahara Desert dominating its south, Morocco has warm weather all year round. The coast has a more Mediterranean climate although the North Atlantic coastline is slightly cooler due to the Canary Current. This is the region where you’ll find popular holiday spots such as Agadir. Further down the coast is the desert, where temperatures soar. Places inland like Marrakech have higher temperatures because they're far away from the sea.

The average high in Agadir is 28ºC in June, so you can look forward to lots of great beach weather. Things cool to a pleasant 16ºC at night, and you won’t need much more than a warmer top for the evenings. The sea temperature’s 20ºC, while humidity’s low. Average rainfall’s just a single millimetre, and you can expect 14 hours of daylight with nine hours of sunshine each day. UV levels will be extreme, so use sun cream if you're spending lots of time in the sun. The sun goes down just after 8.30pm at the start of June, although the end of daylight saving soon brings this forward.
