What’s the weather like in Morocco in July?
In the month of July, the north African country of Morocco has hot temperatures and plenty of sunshine, making it a popular holiday destination at this time of year. With its subtropical climate and dry desert landscapes, you’ll need to bring plenty of high factor sun cream to protect yourself from the strong UV rays. If you want to avoid the intense heat, you may prefer to visit in the early autumn.
Averages
On average, Marrakech is 29°C during the days with highs of a sweltering 37°C in the afternoons. At night there’s some relief from the heat, as the temperature dips to lows of 21°C. In Agadir temperatures are cooled by the Atlantic, but with an average daytime temperature of 22°C and highs of 25°C you’ll still need to be careful in the sun. You’ll get around 13 hours of sunlight each day, perfect for relaxing on the beach at Agadir or exploring the shaded souks of Marrakech. With less than 10mm of rain expected during the month, the chance of wet weather is almost non-existent.
