In January, Abu Dhabi is relatively mild with average temperatures of 18°C and highs of 24°C in the peak of the day. At night the temperature dips to a low of 12°C, so you’ll need to pack a few layers to stay warm on evenings out. With around nine hours of sunshine each day and just 10mm of rain expected during the month, January is a great month for exploring the city or relaxing on the beach without sweltering in the intense summer heat.
